The mission of the WLC is to inspire and prepare the women of Georgia Tech to become equal partners in the leadership of our professions, communities, and society.
About the Conference
The Women's Leadership Conference began during the winter of 1998 as means to celebrate, recognize, and learn more about the strong leadership exhibited by women of the Georgia Tech community. The conference is a gathering of women who have sought to become leaders in the classroom and the boardroom as well as the communities where they reside. As an infant coming into the world of annual campus activities, the conference was phenomenally successful. Now in its 18th year, the conference is again striving to expand its reach. This year we hope to use the conference theme of Be Bold to broaden the personal, professional, and global horizons of all conference attendees. The one-day conference offers workshops, speakers and discussions aimed at training female leaders on area campuses and in the Atlanta community. The new group of Georgia Tech students making up this year’s planning committee is eager to organize a successful and impactful conference again this year. Please continue to check our website for the latest updates about the conference schedule, speakers, and workshops, as well as registration information.
